A classroom, a professor, some students.

1.

Hello (Good day), Miss

Hello (Good day), Madam.

Hello (Good day), Sir

Hello (Good day), ladies, young ladies, gentlemen.

I am the professor.

We are going to learn French.

You are in agreement?

Everyone has understood?

2.

Yes, you are the professor.

We are the students.

And we are going to learn French.

But you speak French? You are French?

No. ... But you know French.

A little bit.

3.

So, listen well.

In order to learn French, we are going to invent a story.

A story like the story of Babar, the story of Asterix,

The story of Peter and the Wolf, the story of the Fox and the Wolf,

The story of Little Red Riding Hood.

A story? But why?

Because that's going to be useful in order to learn French. (for learning French)

It's going to be useful?

Yes, of course. It's going to be useful.

In order to learn French?

Of course (but, yes). To invent a story, that's going to be useful for learning French.

4.

But, who is going to invent the story? You or us?

Who is going to invent the story?

Us. You and me.

Me, I'm going to propose the story.

And us, then?

Well, you, you are going to invent the story with me.

We are going to invent the story together.

You and me. OK? ... It's agreed.

5.

Good, so we are going to invent a story.

The story of an elephant? No.

The story of a man and a woman?

Of Hansel and Gretel? Of Paul and Virginia?

No, it's going to be the story of a young man and a young girl. OK?

Why not.

6.

Good. Very well. What is the young man going to be?

Is the young man going to be Italian?

No, not Italian.

What is he going to be, then?

Is he going to be Spanish?

Is he going to be English, Japanese, Norwegian?

So, what is he going to be? American?

If you want?

7.

Good. The young man is going to be American.

And the young girl. What is she going to be?

Is she going to be American, Norwegian, Japanese, English, French?

French. ... Yes, that's it. The young girl is going to be French.

Because that's going to be useful in order to learn French.

8.

The two young people are going to have lots of friends.

We are going to choose some friends for the young people.

We are going to invent some adventures, some travels.

We are going to discuss all that together.

That's going to be a game.

Let's hope that it's going to e amusing.

But yes, of course. It's going to be amusing ... and useful.

In order to learn French.
